The King of Prussia Rail Project is complex, and the process of finding a preferred alternative for the project requires the development and review of multiple alternatives. Each alternative features a potential alignment the rail extension could take to reach the King of Prussia area, including a No-Build Alternative. The goal is to narrow down the number of alternatives based on which best meets the evaluation criteria and public input to ultimately end up with one Locally Preferred Alternative.
Tiered Alternatives Screening - The Tiered Screening process will be used to evaluate the various alternatives using specific criteria. At each stage of the process, SEPTA will offer several opportunities for the public to review the current range of alternatives under consideration and provide feedback. For the King of Prussia Rail Project, three (3) screening tiers will be used to ultimately find the best overall alternative.Tier 1 & 2 Screening Executive Summary Tier 1 & 2 Screening Results
