KOP Rail is SEPTA’s proposed extension of the Norristown High Speed Line (NHSL) to King of Prussia. The NHSL currently provides service between 69th Street Transportation Center and Norristown Transportation Center, serving the Main Line area in Delaware and Montgomery Counties, and Center City Philadelphia. A rail connection to King of Prussia is a critical need in our region’s transportation system. It will connect Center City, University City, and King of Prussia - Delaware Valley’s three largest employment centers - in 45 minutes, less than a typical trip on the Schuylkill Expressway. The extension has five planned stations, all of which will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
